MISSION TABLE

The Mission Table is a pleasure to build. The mortise and tenon joinery will assure that the table will last for generations. With the center leaf in place the table will seat 10 very comfortably. The top is made of solid hardwoods, oak plywood and has inlet wood keys at the joints in a true Stickley style.

The mortise and tenon joinery will assure you of a chair that will last. The design is uncomplicated and has a skill rating of beginner to construct. Our well detailed instructions show jigs and fixtures to make a production run of four or more chairs very easy.

MISSION ENTERTAINMENT CENTER
This unit with the locking wooden key inserts in the doors is distinctive of the Mission Style. The Center will accommodate most 32" televisions and VCR's. The TV is located on a pull-out tray that is mounted on a swivel. The bottom drawers can be used to store videotapes, CD's, clothing or blankets.

BOW ARM MORRIS CHAIR & SPINDLE ARM MORRIS CHAIR

These chairs are a direct reflection of the work done by William Morris in England in the early 1900's. They are also influenced by the work of Gustav Stickley here in America. Both of the chairs feature quadralinear leg post construction. These posts have four quartersawn oak boards mitered and then glued. This construction technique best displays the oak's ray flake which seems to wrap around the leg. Our well detailed instructions explain three different methods of leg construction.

MISSION BUFFET

To complement the dining set we designed the Mission Buffet. There is a great deal of storage behind each of the doors, which has a single glass shelf on each side. The six drawers have half blind dovetails and the small center door has an oak inlay in the center. This has proven to be one of our more popular designs and is easily constructed from white oak solid material and a sheet of 1/4" & 3/4" oak plywood.

This queen-sized bed is an outstanding project that fits very well in most homes today. The Art's & Crafts style is reflected in the head and foot boards and sets a modern theme of this classic design. This is a very easy project to complete and only requires a limited amount of lumber. The nightstand is included with this plan as an added bonus.
