PETER SHAPIRO
Peter is recognized by many as the most prolific workbench manufacturer in America. Under the Acorn Design Trademark over 800 benches have left Peter's shop. Today, Peter supervises the woodworking facility for the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and creates the casework that holds some of the finest art and relics of the world. Peter lives with his family in California. |

Chris Murphy has worked in our shop and helped develop the Mission Furniture line. This line of furniture has been in development for some time and we plan to expand it in the future. Charlie Johnson Master Box Maker WALNUT FLAME CROTCH JEWELRY BOX This striking lady's jewelry box has a top divided storage tray that lifts out to reveal a large storage area below. The lower drawer is divided into storage sections. The box is constructed from a single resawn board on the sides. When viewed from any side, the grain of the highly figured boards wraps around the box. The striking flame crotch is a veneer in the top. ENGLISH BLACK WALNUT JEWELRY BOX This is the perfect jewelry box for a man. The top opens to reveal a removable tray with a storage area below. The quilted sides give the box a striking appearance.
